MediaRouter Key Facts
MediaRouter™ is a software for transmission of various Internet contents from different sources via digital broadcast systems. The MediaRouter™ supports the services by quality-of-service (QoS) and assignment of Internet connections to data sources and programs. The software runs under Windows NT in conjunction with the DTV IP Inserter DIP.
The QoS module uses queue management. Each queue can be coupled with a specific IP connection or a group of connections (IP subnetwork). Eight individual connections and eight subnetworks are supported. Each connection has its own minimum and maximum protected band-width.
